Spencer Reiss, Esq.
Spencer was born and raised in northern New Jersey, however he has been moving steadily south ever since. Spencer is an accomplished personal injury and criminal defense attorney, and has chosen these fields because he believes in representing “the underdog.”
Whether Spencer’s clients face the Commonwealth, or an insurance company with all the resources in the world, they almost always begin their fight as the underdog. Spencer takes seriously his role as an advocate, counselor, and guide through the legal system, fighting to protect his clients’ rights, and ensuring every client has their story heard. His skill and creativity help to achieve the desired outcome for his clients’ cases.
Prior to joining NovaLegalGroup, P.C., Spencer practiced personal injury law at one of Washington D.C.’s most prestigious personal injury boutiques. He began his legal career at Virginia’s flagship plaintiff-side asbestos litigation firm in Newport News, Virginia. Spencer earned his Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland. Spencer earned his Juris Doctorate from William & Mary Law School. While at William & Mary, Spencer was a member of the school’s national championship winning Trial Team.
Spencer is a self-described “history geek” and enjoys nothing more than touring the area’s museums and historical sites. An avid fan of sports, Spencer cheers on his beloved Maryland Terrapins Basketball and Football Teams, as well as the New York Knicks and New York Football Giants. Unfortunately, this pursuit has led to mostly heartache, although he is always hopeful for next season.
